1. What types of hearing aids do you offer?

    – Hearing aid types include:

 Behind-the-Ear (BTE), Completely-in-Canal (CIC), In-The-Ear (ITE), Invisible-in-Canal (IIC), Receiver-in-Canal (RIC), Instant Fit (IF), Slim Ric (SR) and Custom molds

2. How do I know if I need a hearing aid?

    – You may need a hearing aid if you experience: difficulty hearing conversations, frequent asking of others to repeat themselves, trouble hearing in noisy environments, trouble hearing tv, or ringing in your ears (tinnitus).

3. Do you offer a trial period for hearing aids?

    – Yes, for qualified customers we offer test drive trial period for up to 6 weeks.

4. What brands do you carry, and are they covered by insurance?

    – The main brands we carry are Signia, Starkey, Resound, Rexton, Oticon, Phonak, Unitron, Widex. Insurance coverage is based on the insurance company and your individual plan. We will be happy to verify your insurance.

5. How do I schedule an appointment for a hearing assessment?

    – You may call our office at 800-346-4112 toll free, text or call 808-435-7002.

6. Do you provide in-home visits for hearing aid fittings?

Yes we do. We offer free travelling 0-4 mile radius from 96814; $30.00 5-10 miles; $65.00 11-15 miles, $85.00 16+ miles. 

    

7. How long does it take to get fitted for a hearing aid?

    – Fittings typically take 45 min to 90 min, depending on the type of hearing aid and individual needs.

8. What should I expect during a hearing aid fitting appointment?

    -video otoscope for to see if eligible for accurate hearing test, if have wax will have to clean for accurate hearing test

– Hearing screening to see if you have hearing loss

9. Do you offer financing options for hearing aids?

  • Yes we offer Klarna and Carecredit.com financing. 

10. How often should I come in for follow-up appointments after getting a hearing aid?

    – Follow up appointments are personalized to the individual. We do recommend you routinly clean your hearing aids for optimal hearing results either with professional or at home every 2 – 4 weeks (depending on your wax production). 

11. What is the warranty coverage for your hearing aids?

    – Warranty coverage varies by manufacturer and provider, typically ranging from 1-3 years. Usually, the higher the technology the longer the warranty

12. Can I upgrade my hearing aid if my hearing changes over time?

 

    – Most Major hearing aid manufactures dont allow upgrade outside of trial period. Any change or upgrade will require purchasing a different device. 

– One brand we carry called the Unitron does allow one to upgrade in technology as an option if needed.

13. Do you provide maintenance and repair services for hearing aids?

    – We offer quick minor hearing aid repair, cleaning and maintainance services, and  maintenance training during our fitting follow-up appointments.  Once trouble shoot we assist in repairing it covered under manufacturer hearing aid warranty. 

14. Are there any accessories available for hearing aids?

    – Yes, various accessories are available depending on the hearing aid. 

Accessories include tv streamers, chargers, microphone, dehumidifier, tips/domes.

15. What is the battery life of Stilleto X

– 19 hours
